Presidential Summit serves as an opportunity for networking and fellowship among chief officers of registered student organizations. Presidential Summits focus on various topics such as managing highly effective teams, money management, and officer transitions. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions and hear from guest presenters, including student organization leaders, and gain best practices to take back to their respective organizations.

Featured Speaker: James Crawford, Assistant Director for Student Affairs Learning & Strategic Initiatives
James Crawford serves the Division of Student Affairs as the Assistant Director for Staff Development. James is responsible for division-wide staff development initiatives and programs, each designed to enrich the lives of staff while they, in turn, do the same for students. Prior to joining UGA Student Affairs, James worked in the Office of Greek Life at Vanderbilt University where he was responsible for the advisement of fraternities and sororities, programming, assessment, and training. Whether it was as an undergraduate student leader, playing sports, or in his current professional or volunteer roles, James has always been curious about what helps organizations or groups of people work together effectively. James is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and serves as a traveling facilitator for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women and for Delta Gamma Fraternity. James received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and his Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina.
