Film on the Fifty
Film on the Fifty is a spring tradition in which students have an opportunity to go “between the hedges” of Sanford Stadium to picnic with friends and watch a movie on the Jumbotron. Though enjoyed by all students, Film on the Fifty is a tradition especially memorable for graduating seniors as they cherish their final days on campus and think back to the moment they were first united between the hedges at Freshman Welcome.
Film on the Fifty is a collaboration between the Center for Student Activities and Involvement, the Athletic Association, University Union, and the Homecoming Committee.
Join University Union to watch a “Film on the Fifty.” Once voting has commenced, we will reveal the film that has been selected.
The event will consist of the pre-party, the movie screening, and a chance to take photos with your friends in Sanford Stadium.
The pre-party will take place on Reed Plaza starting at 6:00 p.m. We will have food and music before entering the stadium. The pre-party is for students only.
Attendees will enter the stadium through GATE 4 off Reed Plaza and will be directed down to the field for seating. GATE 4 will open at 7:15 p.m.
This is a FREE event and is open to any UGACard holder (students/faculty/staff). Attendees must show their UGACard to enter.
